Brooklyn Steelwork is a New York based company providing metal fabrication services in NYC. Founded in 2018, with the “get it done” attitude, Brooklyn Steelwork has grown to become a one-stop shop for NYC’s architectural design and construction clients.

MANAGEMENT APPROACH
Budget – work with the design team to stay at the project’s targeted budget by proactively “filling in gaps” at the preliminary drawings stage and providing detailed takeoffs for accurate assessment.
Schedule – identify design/material decision dates, long lead item procurement times, critical path activity schedules and work with subcontractors to fast-track trade specific schedules.
Collaboration – work with each member of the client and design team as partners throughout construction process focusing on transparency and outstanding client service.
Control – examine and update weekly reports to identify and control potential changes and their impact on budgets and construction schedules.

Blackening - metal goes through a process to give it a darker finish than its original color.

Powder Coating - a dry coating process used as a metal finish mostly on industrial equipment. Powder coating is applied as dry powder through an electrostatic process, then cured with heat.
